ELLSWORTH Ellsworth Police arrested two Belfast men in connection with 16 burglaries that reportedly occurred in the last year, according to a news release. Ellsworth Police said that following an eight-month joint investigation into burglaries.
Authorities say the investigation recently led them to the Patterson Hill Rd. home of Anthony Night in Belfast, where they executed a search warrant for the stolen items.
Police have recovered approximately $200,000 in stolen property and charged two Belfast men with theft after an eight-month, multidepartment investigation into a spate of burglaries.
At least three of the arachnids were identified as illegal to be in Maine. The others are at a Lewiston wildlife rehab facility for further identification.
