An Arizona woman arrested in connection with the Capitol riot on January 6 claimed to have been recruited by the Proud Boys, a misogynistic far-right group, a criminal complaint said.
Felicia Konold was arrested in Arizona last week on charges of conspiracy, civil disorder, obstruction, trespassing, and disorderly conduct, according to the Department of Justice.
The complaint said Konold recorded multiple Snapchat videos describing the riot. In one, it said, she claimed to have been recruited by the Kansas City chapter of the Proud Boys and displayed what she said was a membership coin.

PHOENIX (AP) The father of two Arizona siblings facing federal charges involving the attack on the U.S. Capitol has suggested without evidence that antifa and Democrats could have instigated the riots and he expressed shock about the arrests.
Felicia and 25-year-old Cory Konold were arrested Thursday by the FBI in connection with the storming of the Capitol building on Jan. 6 in an attempt to stop Congress from certifying the election of President Joe Biden. The age of Felicia Konold hasn’t not been released by authorities.
Conspiracy, civil disorder and illegally entering a restricted building were among the charges filed Wednesday against the siblings in federal court in Washington.

An Arizona father has described his shock after his son and daughter were charged in connection to the Capitol attack along with associates of the far-right Proud Boys group.
Felicia and Cory Konold have been charged with conspiracy, civil disorder, disorderly conduct, obstruction of an official proceeding and entering a restricted building or grounds after allegedly taking part in the January 6 insurrection.
The siblings were charged along with William Chrestman and Christopher Kuehne of Kansas and Luis Enrique Colon of Missouri. Chrestman, who was pictured wielding a club at the January 6 protest, was seen with Felicia Konold associating with Proud Boys members ahead of the attack.
