Rolling Stone Chris Cornell’s Family Settles With Doctor Who Prescribed Singer Drugs
Terms of agreement from 2018 lawsuit remain confidential

The family of Chris Cornell has settled its lawsuit with the doctor the family claimed overprescribed medication to the late Soundgarden singer in the years preceding his May 2017 death.
The settlement between the plaintiffs Cornell’s widow Vicky and their children Toni and Christopher Nicholas and the defendant Robert Koblin M.D. was reached last month, according to court documents obtained by
Rolling Stone. Terms of the settlement remain confidential.

The Cornell family alleged in the lawsuit filed in 2018 in Los Angeles Superior Court that medication, especially the anti-anxiety drug lorazepam, prescribed by Dr Robert Koblin led to erratic behaviour from the Soundgarden frontman before his death in Detroit in 2017 at age 52.
