Sunday (12/20) will be the last day of business for
3Fish Coffee in Albany, which opened at the beginning of 2017 in a renovated section of Downtube Bicycle Shop at 466 Madison Ave., near Washington Park.
The cafe’s owner, Emma Fullem, whose father, Robert Fullem, opened the bike shop in 1972, does not attribute the closure directly to the coronavirus pandemic; her
announcement on Facebook, however, suggests a connection, saying, “this year has prompted personal reflection, and I (Emma) have decided it’s time for a new chapter.”
She says the coffee shop could be revived under a new manager or a new tenant.
