Creepshow season 3, as the second season prepares to debut on Shudder this year.
Deadline reports that Shudder has renewed
Creepshow for a third season, bringing the anthology horror series back after its six-episode second season premieres on the streaming platform later this year. Here’s the newly-released season 2 trailer:
With the announcement of the
Creepshow renewal ahead of AMC Networks’ virtual TCA winter press tour session, Shudder also revealed that season 3 will feature guest stars like
Shudder and AMC+ have released the official

The anthology series is executive produced by showrunner Greg Nicotero (
The Walking Dead) and based on George A. Romero’s iconic 1982 movie. The six-episode second season will premiere exclusively on Shudder on April 1, 2021, with production on the second season following all safety guidelines and protocols in accordance with SAG-AFTRA, DGA, IATSE, TEAMSTERS, CDC, and state and local guidance.
Details on four of this season’s segments were previously released, which will be directed by Nicotero. Anna Camp and Adam Pally will star in “Shapeshifters Anonymous” Parts 1 and 2, written by Nicotero based on a short story by J.A. Konrath (

Kostanski tells
I can say honestly that the on-set experience for that show was such a scrappy low-budget adventure.
It definitely felt like what I imagined Romero felt like on the ’70s movies. It was a lot of really thinking on our feet and seeing how we can stretch our budget as much as possible.”

In a recent interview with Bloody Disgusting, director Steven Kostanski has opened up about SYFY’s upcoming series adaptation of George A. Romero’s classic horror film
Day of the Dead, confirming that the 10-episode series will indeed have some ties to the original 1985 film. Kostanski also revealed that he has already completed filming the first four episodes of the upcoming series.
“I actually wrapped up working on that back in December; I ended up shooting the first four episodes of the show. So it’s a ten-episode series; it does have ties to the original movie. I can’t go into too many specifics, unfortunately. I’m not really allowed to say much of anything,”Kostanski said.
