The power was restored here at 8 00 this evening, but at certain points of the day across the bay area, there were about 43,000 customers that did not have electricity, and right now as i smeek, there are tens of thousands of customers who are still in the dark in certain parts of the bay area. On a day when temperatures swelled into the triple digits in some places, san mateo was cooler, but having no power was still fun. Went to the lakes, got some sunburns going on so we didnt have the fan. Family out on fathers day, and according to the Power Company, 7400 customers were affected.
