The couple who just sold their Palm Beach house to “Rocky” star Sylvester Stallone has moved two towns south, paying a reported $38.875 million for a newly built ocean-to-lake estate in Manalapan, the Palm Beach Daily News has confirmed.
Ron and Cindy McMackin bought the six-bedroom house at 1660 S. Ocean Blvd. from its developer, Town Commissioner Stewart A. Satter, who lives next door. The sale closed Wednesday and is among the biggest-dollar transactions ever in Manalapan and the town’s biggest direct-lakefront sale, according to deals recorded in the multiple listing service.

In a deal that closed Dec. 15, a trust affiliated with Stallone paid the McMackins a recorded $35.375 million for their lakefront estate at 1480 N. Lake Way in Palm Beach. The Palm Beach Daily News reported that sale in an exclusive story.
