Bellingham man killed in Uxbridge crash when truck goes airborne over guardrail, landing in water
UXBRIDGE The driver who died in a rollover crash on Route 146 Sunday afternoon has been identified by state police as 31-year-old Robert Bilodeau III of Bellingham.
The pickup Bilodeau was driving went off the highway and down an embankment, coming to rest in a shallow pond.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused Bilodeau to lose control of the vehicle.
A passenger is being treated for serious injuries, state police said.
The initial investigation indicates the 2002 Chevrolet Silverado was headed north on Route 146, near Exit 3, about 3:30 p.m. when Bilodeau lost control of the truck, according to state police.
