As the search for a new superintendent in Loudoun County, Virginia, continues, a new survey is revealing differing priorities among school leaders and community members when it comes to critical issues across the district.
The school board is voting Saturday to finalize the list of qualities they will be looking for in the district’s next superintendent. Trustees are hoping to hire a new leader by the end of May.
Board members want the search to be open to the public, but that could scare off sitting superintendents who don't want their districts to know they’re looking for another job.
