ahead. and when they say everyone, they mean it. this week, bloomberg s campaign admitted to employing prisoners in oklahoma to make phone calls on bloomberg s behalf. robbie sauve is a senior editor and author of the book panic attacks. he joins us now. the bloomberg campaign has several connections with the oklahoma penal system. what actually is the objection to what mayor bloomberg accidentally found himself doing, using prisoners to make campaign calls? yeah, i think every one, right, left, and center, is going to agree that it doesn t look good. may be perfectly legal, but i don t think it looks ethical. to be using people who are locked up, to be making calls on behalf of your campaign. i mean, what kind of statement is that about your campaign, if the people you are getting excited about, literally they have no choice but to even leave

georgia. president trump knew about the whistle-blower complaint before they lifted aid on the ukraine. that confirms reporting by the new york times. the papers report the president was briefed about the complaint back in august and then on september 11th the white house informed congress that it was releasing the money to ukraine. in the meantime the house judiciary committee is giving president trump new lawyers the chance to participate in next week s hearing. let s bring in our panel. john thomas g strategist at pushback which response to democrats on major issues. the spring again with you, robbie, when the president was briefed in august and the reporting is that he released the eight and september. what s more important here, when you release the eight or why the aide was withheld in your
didn t learn for months why this thing and then finally on september the aide is released. what republicans are saying is hold on that was the only explanation that the president never gave. that s consistent with president trump s broader philosophy and giving aid to foreign countries which is they need to be doing their part. the u.s. government can t be just giving aid without anything in return. what do you think about that, robbie? is one of those things where we take a quick testimony both sides pick and choose what they want from it and they go with it? we are trying to figure out this incredibly bureaucratic process of holding or delaying and then releasing aid and trying to find out which officials and why it is like a game of telephone four who initiated the hold. throughout all of that we have to find out exactly what was in trump s head if and when he said no, don t do it for this reason. that s going to be hard to do even if there was some wrongdoing or not a perfect
president since mick mulvaney and mike pompeo before this house judiciary committee come is not something that would save the democrats? it might be. i don t think is going to do that, and i think it would be wise not to do that. trump wants to have the fight in the senate perhaps on friendlier terms if that s what s going to happen. they re still a chance that some democrats in the house say you know what, do we really want to do this when there is zero chance this will result in trumping removed from office? what it could do is call into more questions legitimate or illegitimate on who might be their candidate. former vice president biden, it s possible they say what s the point of doing this. we will find out i guess. do they vote to impeach the democrats? i think likely yes. 110% yes. trace: john thomas, robbie sauve, good of you both. thank you. more americans are now dying at
