Ruby Louise Davidson of Steubenville was reunited with her husband Donald in the early morning hours of January 9, 2021, after passing away at the UPMC Passavant hospital in McCandless. They no doubt rejoiced together before their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after many years of faithful service here on Earth.
Ruby was born on November 3, 1934 in Wallace, Harrison County, West Virginia to the late Eugene and Elsie Knight. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings Jimmy, Roy, Ed, Fred, Bill, Beulah, Adeline, Annie, Evie, and Betty.
Ruby met Donald when he was a bus driver who liked to stop in at the Wheel Restaurant in Steubenville where she was a waitress. They were married for over 60 years before Donald’s passing in 2016, raising their family in the Wintersville area.
