Net office leasing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area declined by another 2 million square feet in the first quarter, according to the latest data from commercial property firm Cushman & Wakefield. The decline in office occupancy in the area came in spite of a recent uptick in building leasing activity.

Edge Communications is a tenant in the Tollway North Office Park on Windcrest Parkway near Preston Road.(KBS) A Plano high-tech firm is revamping its operations with a new office lease deal. Edge Communications Solutions has cut the footprint of its offices in Legacy business park by about a third with a new lease. “They had 30,000 square feet and they had their people working remote,” said Mike Wyatt, executive managing director with commercial property firm Cushman & Wakefield. “We right-sized them to approximately 21,000 square feet.”
