If Rob and Tiffany Wagler wondered how strongly their foster-support organization “Rooted” is being backed, they were given a good indication April 10.
A 5K run and 1-mile walk/run to support Rooted drew more than 125 participants and dozens of volunteers to downtown Burr Oak, where the energy level was high, food from an Amish-made breakfast generated a positive vibe and enthusiasm was evident.
Tiffany Wagler, admittedly high-energy by nature, absorbed the commotion and made a confession.
“I’m humbled … it gives me goose bumps,” she said. “Just an incredible level of support from so many people and groups who come from so many different directions to support Rooted.”
