Meanwhile, it was announced by The Hollywood Reporter earlier in the day, that Ruby has replaced Elliot Page in the upcoming comedy 1Up.
The film, which is now in production in Toronto, follows a young woman named Valerie Lee who quits her college esports team and forms her own in order to maintain her scholarship.
Ruby will be playing the professor who helps Valerie assemble the new team, whereas Valerie will be played by Paris Berelc.
