All those clouds that have been hanging around the past few days will finally bring us some wet weather this weekend. The trade off warmer temperatures after a few evening showers on friday, most of saturday is looking dry. Expect to wake up to mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid 40s. But we will warm up into the upper 50s to around 60 in the afternoon. A few showers are possible before sunset, but it looks like the bulk of the rain will be moving in late saturday night and into the first part of sunday as an area of low pressure rolls up the coast. You may even be awakened by a stray thunderstorm early sunday morning. We are not expecting a big outbreak of severe weather, but an isolated severe storm is possible. Most of the wet weather will end by early afternoon on sunday. And with a gusty southwest wind ahead of an approaching cold front, expect high temperatures well into the 60s.
