Rob Petrone began hosting Restaurant Hunters in New York in January 2015
In early 2020 he suffered a massive heart attack at home with his children
Doctors found that 95 per cent of Petrone s main artery was blocked
He had hereditary high cholesterol; ate three burgers a week, pizza and shakes
Petrone wrote in Wednesday s Washington Post about the impact of his scare
He urged people to think about what they were eating and not eat for Instagram
He also called on people to use less butter, salt and fat in their home cooking
