Today, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is announcing additional measures to encourage vaccinations and increase vaccine confidence as part of the next phase of its COVID-19 public education campaign. Once again, the Groceries for Guns campaign is returning to Fall River.
Gift cards for groceries are being offered as trade with the Fall River Police Department in honor of late Rev. Dr. Robert Lawrence. Gift cards will range between $50-$75 for any firearms that you return safely and no questions will be asked.
For the second year in a row, the program will aim to gather illegal guns off the streets and also guns that you might not want anymore. All are welcome in an effort to clean up the streets of Fall River.
The event will be held at Blessed Trinity Parish, located at 1340 Plymouth Ave in Fall River on Saturday, January 30, 2021.
