Rob Moodie, Professor of Public Health in the School of Population and Global Health at Australia s University of Melbourne, has a radical agenda for industry and business. His ambition, shared with a group of coauthors and set out in three Series papers in The Lancet, is to tackle the commercial determinants of health (CDOH). The health-harming effects of the tobacco, alcohol, food, and fossil fuel industries are well documented.
