Rob is hoping to enjoy a much needed relaxing afternoon of fishing… alone!
A quiet fishing trip for Rob is interrupted by the arrival of chatty Valerie Pitman (played by Sarah Moyle) on Doctors!
Despite Rob dropping more than a few hints, Valerie tells the policeman all about the Clean-up Letherbridge campaign she has just joined.

Tom’s dad, Simon (played by ex-Emmerdale star, Tom Lister) is currently serving a prison sentence, having confessed to the murder of his wife, Lisa last year.
However, something doesn’t quite add up about that fateful day.
Karen Hollins (Jan Pearson) and her policeman husband, Rob (Chris Walker) have been fostering both Tom and his teenage sister, Ella (Lily-Mae Evans) for the past few months.

For Chris, it’s not a bizarre plot twist involving his character, policeman Rob Hollins. It’s a plan to raise money for Real Help Doncaster, the Doncaster charity which works with the homeless in the borough.
He is joining pal Paul along with Anastasia and Richard from 8pm to 8am. They will start the evening touring the town centre with people who work with the borough’s homeless.
Later they will settle down hoping for some sleep in a car park away from the town centre. If it rains, they will find space in a doorway.

So the couple have arranged for teenager Tom and his sister, Ella (Lily-Mae Evans) to have a counselling session with Dr Jimmi Clay (Adrian Lewis Morgan) at the Mill.
However, when Jimmi meets with Tom and Ella for separate sessions, he hears conflicting accounts of what really happened the day their dad, Simon (played by ex-Emmerdale star, Tom Lister) confessed to the murder of their mum…
