GoFundMe campaign helps well-known Beaver family battling leukemia

BEAVER  The community is rallying behind Eileen Hertweck, a Beaver resident, registered nurse, and wife of well-known local rocker Rob Hertweck of The Clarks. A GoFundMe campaign has raised more than $75,000 toward a $100,000 goal to assist with medical bills for Hertweck, who has acute myeloid leukemia. Visit gofundme.com and search for The Hertweck Family. Beaver businesses like Cord+Iron and Beavetown T s have donated money from candle and T-shirt sales to help the Hertweck family, which includes daughters Madison, 13, and Riley, 10, who also perform as a music act locally with their father.  The local Bags & Blessings nonprofit has delivered the family care packages. Fellow members of Four Mile Church off Tuscarawas Road continue to lift Hertweck s spirits.
