The final day of the Bannisters Port Stephens Commodore s Cup is here already, and for the third day in a row, the 108 boats will start off the Nelson Bay breakwall in a westerly breeze.
Today, instead of the spinnaker starts we have enjoyed over the past two days, we will see the fleet head into the westerly for the Explore the Bays course, right up to West Arm, around Boondaba Island, and then back to the Nelson Bay breakwall to finish under spinnaker.
Then tonight we will head to Bannisters Port Stephens to mark the halfway point of the regatta with the Commodore s Cup and brilliant band Sons of Beaches.
