The Amazing Maurice follows a streetwise ginger cat who comes up with a money-making scam by befriending a group of self-taught talking rats. As the synopsis reads: When Maurice and the rodents reach the stricken town of Bad Blintz, they meet a bookworm called Malicia and their little con soon goes down the drain.
McDonald and Dodds returned to the small screen last night for its second series - but the highly-anticipated crime drama left viewers sorely disappointed thanks to its special effects.
Set in picturesque Bath, the ITV series pairs feisty DCI McDonald (played by Tala Gouveia), who has recently transferred from London’s Met Police, with the unassuming DS Dodds (Jason Watkins), who has been happily in the background for most of his working life.
To McDonald’s surprise they form an unexpectedly effective crime solving partnership and in the latest episode investigated a person s fall and death from a hot air balloon while flying with four friends.
