A construction company soon will begin to build a 0.60-mile extension of the Roanoke River Greenway from Kingsmill Drive in Salem to near the site of the Riverside Nursery.
The Roanoke River Greenway now runs continuously through much of Roanoke and Salem so the next steps are beginning to fall into place.
