tornado warnings. this area here, you re favorable location to deal with weak tornadoes as we go throughout the evening. it s nighttime. you won t see them. they move quickly with these storms so just keep your family safe in your rooms. here s your latest forecast track just out from the hurricane center. they expect landfall after about 10:00 a.m. or so in extreme eastern north carolina on the outer banks. most likely as a category 1. weakening it down a little bit from a 2 to 1. interesting, as we go throughout the forecast. it doesn t weaken. if it hits even north carolina at 90 it exits at 85. that s the closest approach to virginia beach and the norfolk area and then saturday area into sunday morning they still have it as 80 mile per hour hurricane off the jersey shore. what they get tonight and the damage that curse in eastern north carolina, you can extrapolate that up the coast.
