LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) La Crosse’s Moon Tunes will start up again June 3, Valley View Rotary’s Terry Bauer announced Wednesday.
The summer concert series will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 3, with a dedication of the band shell designed by Roald Gundersen. It will be followed by a concert featuring Bill Miller, TUGG and the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra.
Moon Tunes will have Piggy’s sandwiches, Pearl Street Beer, The Pearl Ice Cream, Pepsi products, water, and popcorn available.
The concerts will keep going each Thursday through Sept. 11, when it will conclude with the annual Deece Production Woodstock Tribute. There will be three weeks without concerts for Riverfest and the July 8 Kids from Wisconsin concert.

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) A group dedicated to preserving historic architecture in the La Crosse area has a plan to preserve Fire Station No. 4 while still getting the La Crosse Fire Department a new station on the same block.
Preservation Alliance of La Crosse on Thursday released its plan, which PAL President Barbara Kooiman called a “win-win” solution. The plan was developed with help from architect Roald Gundersen.
