The local Councillor said, “Local Roads Service Officers have confirmed that subject to their section office budget allocation they hope to resurface the entire stretch of the Windmill Road in July/August 2021 in line with school closures to ensure minimum disruption to residents and to allow efficient completion.
“This is welcome news and I commend local residents for their determination to see that the unacceptable condition of the road surface was addressed.
“I have been working on behalf of the residents, lobbying and holding site meetings with the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) for a number of years ensuring this issue has been on the table at all times for funding.
