Johnson County Secondary Roads news release Effective immediately, W62 (Sharon Center Road SW) is closed to all traffic between Highway 1 and Kansas Avenue SW.

Weather permitting, beginning Monday, April 19, 2021, Black Hawk Avenue NW will be closed at the bridge over a Branch of Clear Creek. This location is just west of the City of Oxford in northwestern Johnson County.
A new bridge and roadway work will be constructed by Taylor Construction Inc., of New Vienna, Iowa. Anticipated project completion and reopening of the road is August 2021.
