Margao (Goa) [India], May 2 (ANI): Slamming the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) both at the Centre and state for mishandling the COVID-19 situation, Goa Leader of Opposition (LoP) Digambar Kamat said that the only option left with the BJP government is to extend lockdown.
Kamat reiterated his demand to hand over the COVID management to a task force comprising of experts from the Civil Society and the Army. Enough is enough, let us not play with the innocent lives anymore, he added.
Further condemning the BJP government on handling the COVID-19 situation, Kamat said, We cannot rely anymore on the BJP government at the Centre as well as the state who remained in celebrations mode throughout the year without creating any medical infrastructure and services.
