republicans, and they decided not to act on this. number two, i think it would benefit to have an independent investigation by the fbi because not only are they going to talk to ford, naug, thkavanaugh, jud was reportedly in the room, but also individual who is know dr. ford and folk who is know kavanaugh as witnesses of their character. if it comes out for those folks to say he s a good guy, we don t think he i think it could be an issue of a he-said-she-said could benefit republicans by saying let s allow an independent investigation here so that we can show that we re being fair and transparent. it s a political calculation, but i think they re making not to do is a so because they rs about getting him confirmed before midterms. at the same time, beyond november, another presidential election coming up, what are women going to remember beyond this and how will that hurt us beyond november? i ll come back in just a moment. thanks to wendy murphy for
and so, i must say, if you are donald trump, and you are this close to the midterm and you are losing rick scott, that is, you know, that is a hell of a thing. historically, presidents are jud judged in these moments of crisis. in these moments of natural disasters, because the people turn to the government, and even the most virulent conservative will turn to the government in the moments of chaos and disorder, and presidents have gotten in trouble. both bushes got in trouble, and both bushes are incredibly empathetic men, and the father is the most empathetic man that i have ever encountered but yet when hurricane andrew struck, if you will remember, he did not appear to be on top of it as he should have, and we all know the story, but this is of a
following this closely where the judge, we didn t know where he would come down. he was rough on both sides. i mentioned earlier, very rough on the government side. did i get that right? that s right, neil. judge richard leone, a harde judg he ruled against the doj because he said they did not meet the burden of proof, w was their responsibility. he didn t buy what they had to say. he didn t think they brought enough reasons to the table why this would be an anti trust violation. he s in favor of the at&t-time-warner merger giving them the do-ahead for at&t to buy time-warner here. the interesting thing is he had the option to put conditions on this. so the fact the jud said green light all the way, go ahead, no conditions shows just how much he bought at&t and time-warner s case. there s a wild card here. the dog people that have been
