Gas load shedding, low pressure irk residents of Tank

TANK: Unannounced gas load shedding and low pressure have badly hit both the domestic and commercial consumers in Tank district.
The residents of Tank city have threatened the authorities concerned with a protest if the problem of gas load-shedding and low pressure were not resolved. They said that gas pressure drastically drops in the mornings and evenings. The residents said that housewives were facing hardships due to low gas pressure and unscheduled load-shedding.
Zaman Bhittani, who heads a civil society organization “Tank Itehad”, said that gas load-shedding was started while Eidul Azha was approaching, adding that Tank city was not having factories or CNG stations but gas authorities were still mistreating the locals.
