Mumbai cop Vinayak Shinde dismissed from service in Antilia threat, Mansukh Hiran death case

(Photo: India Today) One more cop of the Mumbai Police was on Monday dismissed from service for his alleged role in the Antilia bomb scare incident and the death case of businessman Mansukh Hiran. Police constable Vinayak Shinde was dismissed from the police service following an order issued under Article 311(2)(b) of the Constitution by the Additional Commissioner of Police, West Region, Mumbai. Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Waze and his aide Riyaz Qazi have already been dismissed from the police service for their alleged role in both cases.

The two PAs - Sanjeev Palande and Kundan - are being interrogated by the central probe agency in connection with the preliminary enquiry registered by the agency on the directives of the Bombay High Court. All of this remains in the domain of allegations, so the CBI is trying to look at it from all angles before arriving at a conclusion in the case,
