THREE Lancashire acts will be taking to the stage at a music festival headlined by rock icons Toploader and Republica later this month. Singer-songwriter Meeka B and rockers Ordinary Superpowers from Clitheroe along with Ribble Valley funk rock band Good Foxy will all be performing at the Rivington Music Festival between July 16 and 18. Organisers say they have worked hard to ensure the event can go ahead by working with Chorley Council to put Covid safety measures in place. Rivington Terraced Gardens project manager Andrew Suter, said: “It’s been a week of huge ups and downs, we contemplated cancelling very seriously but having worked though our options, we are confident we can deliver a fantastic festival that is Covid safe, albeit with reduced numbers.
