Plainclothes officers say they found “disorderly activity” at Papa Don’s Pub on East Market Street where Goodyear Heights and Ellet meet near Interstate 76 in southeast Akron. “Every seat at the bar was occupied and no social distancing measures were in place,” according to a press release Sunday from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, which is part of the Ohio Investigative Unit that enforces the emergency health and other orders. “Several patrons were observed consuming alcohol, congregating shoulder to shoulder and moving freely throughout the establishment.”
