The Volkswagen Tiguan SE R-Line Black RiNo Concept
The latest Volkswagen 2021 Enthusiast Fleet showstopper Apr 8, 2021; Volkswagen recently revealed its latest addition to the 2021 Enthusiast Fleet family a sleek and sporty all-black Tiguan SE R-Line Black RiNo Concept, named for the Riverside North arts district in downtown Denver, Colorado. The concept was designed by Jamie Orr and incorporates a selection of partners from the automotive aftermarket to showcase the athletic mid-size SUV’s adventurous style, strength and spirit.
Orr, a Volkswagen enthusiast and car collector, had a clear vision for the build right from the start. “I knew what the Tiguan represented for me and what I wanted to do stylistically with it,” Orr said.

To cater to its huge enthusiast following, from time to time, Volkswagen reveals cool concept cars that give owners ideas on how to modify their rides. Earlier this year, Volkswagen unveiled Jetta GLI Concept called the Blue Lagoon. It featured a unique blue wrap, BBS wheels, retro Recaro seats, and more unique touches. More vehicles are coming to the 2021 Volkswagen Enthusiast Fleet family, including a new concept that just dropped.
Say hello to the Tiguan SE R-Line Black RiNo Concept. Based on the current 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan, not the upcoming 2022 model, the SE R-Line Black RiNo Concept is named after the Riverside North arts district in downtown Denver, Colorado. The concept debuted at the EuroTripper enthusiast event in Ft. Meyers, Florida, in February. This is easily the coolest Tiguan we ve ever seen in the United States since the hardcore Tiguan R isn t sold here.

This concept was designed by Jamie Orr, a VW enthusiast and car collector who set out to create a bespoke SUV capable of showcasing the Tiguan’s inherent versatility and sporty character.
“What I love about the Tiguan is that it performs just as well on sinuous backroads as it does on city streets,” he said.
“This car can withstand the elements – but many Tiguan owners simply want a sports utility vehicle that is fun to drive in their daily lives.”
Orr even added a mountain bike to the German crossover, courtesy of Marin Bikes. It is a gloss black carbon fiber Alpine Trail 2 model, featuring a Thule T1 bike rack.
Every once in a while, when it isn’t slyly pretending to change its name, Volkswagen USA hands one of its cars off to a tuner and lets them go nuts. The latest such concept is the Tiguan SE R-Line Black RiNo.
Named after Denver, Colorado’s Riverside North arts district, the concept is inspired by the city’s outdoorsy, adventurous spirit. Built by Jamie Orr, of Orchid Euro, the Tiguan Black RiNo is designed with cycling in mind.
“The mountain bike is designed to function in difficult terrain, but it works well in any environment just like the Tiguan,” said Orr. “The idea is that this vehicle is capable of going on adventures with you.”
