The Brunswick Town Council OK'd spending $1.12 million to construct the first pieces of the Midcoast Athletic and Recreation Complex, a multi-million-dollar set of courts, fields and other recreation amenities that supporters hope will draw families and spending to town.
Six Rivers Youth Sports purchased Topsham's former Roller World in 2021, transforming it into an indoor sports facility, and plans to add an ice rink next year.
