The twostory house was inundated by a wall of mud that tore right through the walls, snapped support beams and as you can see wrecked the foundation. The family inside heard the commotion, all ran out. The homeowner says everyone did get out safely and is okay. He said seeing the house where he was born destroyed is tough to handle. I tell my wife and son, weve got to get out of the house. Right then there was a slide that came in over our upper patio and hit the window into our kitchen, coming down into the house. So then we ran out. Smart move. Two neighboring homes have been tagged unsafe, too dangerous for people to be in because of the crumbling hillside.
