This is what it looked like friday evening when the utility pole snapped in half on carroll avenue as the storm came through. Neighbors tell news4 they also experienced marblesized hail. At least a half dozen trees came crashing down in one takoma park neighborhood alone. Luckily, no injuries reported in the storm.
