Duncan McIntrye thanked New Zealanders for visiting Marlborough and asked them to keep coming. Despite the downturn in international travellers he had experienced a “really-good summer”, because New Zealanders were travelling. The long Queen s Birthday weekend had also been busy. He wanted to thank New Zealanders for coming to Marlborough and asked that they continue to visit. CPR Airshop cafe worker Phoebe Barnef said since the opening of the bubble, it had seen several Australians coming through, however, all were visiting loved ones rather than travelling as tourists.
