Updated A serious crash has shut a stretch of the A548 in Flintshire.
North Wales Police has warned that the eastbound carriageway of the road near the junction for Penyffordd and Ffynnongroyw, has been shut.
They said it is likely the road will be closed for some time.
A spokesman said: Please note that the eastbound carriageway of the A548, at the traffic lights for Penyffordd and Ffynnongroyw, is currently closed due to a serious road traffic collision. The road is likely to be closed for some time so please use an alternative route.
