Flood alerts and warnings remain in place for parts of Nottinghamshire due to high river levels.
The Government s flood information service has put in place flood warnings - where flooding is expected - at the River Maun near Gamston as well as in the Long Eaton area.
It states: River levels remain high at the Whitewater Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Areas most at risk are Haughton, Milton and West Drayton. We expect river levels to remain high until this evening. We are closely monitoring the situation.

Some bus services are diverting due to flooding in parts of the county.
Nottingham City Transport (NCT) has reported that the Sky Blue services (46 and 47) are diverting due to flooding in Woodborough.
Stops between Travellers Rest pub, through Woodborough to The Lambley pub in Lambley cannot be served in either direction.
The South Notts 1 and Navy 49 services are also diverting due to flooding at Standford on Soar and Queens Drive Park and Ride.
NCT tweeted: South Notts 1 continues to divert via Hoton and Cotes because of flooding at Stanford on Soar and Navy 49 is not serving Queens Drive Park & Ride Site due to flooding.
Newark: Severn Trent is preparing for Storm Christoph and issues advice to customers

Severn Trent is preparing for Storm Christoph as warnings for heavy rain and flooding have been issued across most of the Midlands.
In the Newark area, there are currently flood alerts that cover the River Trent, River Trent Tributaries and the River Maun.
The company is on standby for any issues with sewer flooding, and is advising its customers to also get familiar with who to contact should they come into any problems.

Chris Giles, head of waste network operations, said: âWe really hope that Storm Christoph doesnât bring any issues for our customers but, if it does, then weâre prepared to help and support those who need us. Weâve got more teams and tankers on standby, and weâll be closely monitoring areas at risk of sewer flooding due to heavy rainfall.
