Travel and the weekend, a huge sprawling and messy storm large enough to straddle both sides of the Mississippi River as it heads from west to east is tonight on the move with a second weather system right behind it. Tonights storm has triggered watches and warnings from texas where it left a foot of snow clear to new england. Its one of those storms big enough to be given a name by our friends at the weather channel. They call it iola. But for upwards of 60 million americans in its path its just going to make a mess of transportation. Its where we begin on this friday night with meteorologist dylan dreyer. Reporter up and down the east coast today salt trucks are filling up and heading out. Plows on the move as ice, snow and wind push north. Much of the eastern part of the country is gearing up for this saturday storm. The storm left texas blanketed in record breaking snow. She has written a new chunk of the book and it is about whats happened in the past year. And its not good. I mean, the book is good, but in Hillary Clintons accounting, what has happened in the last year is really really not good. Heres how she sums it up in the new portion of the book. The corruption of the Trump Administration is breathtaking. There may not be tanks in the streets and the administrations ma lev lance may be con trained new for its incompetence. Our democracy is in crisis. Im writing this not as a democrat who lost an election, but as a democrat afraid of losing the country. Since this book came out, my fears about what a Trump Presidency would mean for our country have been repeatedly surpassed by reality. Its not a feel good kind of book, its kind of a well, i wouldnt say its a fire
