December 27 saw the addition of a 63rd National Park and a great new addition to your socially distanced travel bucket list: New River Gorge in Fayetteville, West Virginia. This is the state s first National Park and its crown jewel, attracting nearly one million visitors every year. New River Gorge has long been an outdoor activities hub that features hiking, fishing, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, biking, and camping, with plenty of charming historic towns nearby for further exploration.
