A number of flood warnings are in place this morning after heavy rain fell across Gloucestershire. Heavy rain lashed down in the Cotswolds yesterday, with a yellow weather warning from the Met Office in place for the entirety of the day. The Environment Agency (EA) has issued four flood warnings for the Cotswolds. The River Churn from Baunton to Siddington including Cirencester, has been issued a red warning. A spokesman for The Environment Agency said: Property flooding is expected. River levels have risen on the River Churn as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property is imminent, especially in the areas closest to the Churn in the Cirencester.
