Citizen app video showing the scene just a little while ago. This apparently started, as we mentioned on southbound lanes of highway 101, near windsor. The car was spotted around 2 oclock this afternoon by officers rohnert park Shopping Plaza a shortly after 3 oclock. And that is when the chase began. And the chase went down. 101 on the highway. 37 towards the east bay. But police say the suspect then. Did a uturn. Im 37 and they got back on the 101 heading south. Eventually across the bay via the richmond, sandra fell bridge. The suspect then led officers eastbound on 80 towards fairfield, which is where the standoff that is currently taking place began. The chp has issued a severe Traffic Alert due to the standoff there on interstate 80 near 6. 80, in fairfield again, all both directions of interstate 80 are currently blocked. Right . If you dont need to be going that direction tonight, obviously it is friday evening. Folks might be trying to get through 80 at this point. But for the

A big story that weve been following since this morning to San Jose Police officers have been shot while they were on duty. We do now know the name of the man who allegedly shot them. He has been identified by police as 33 yearold kevin briones. So this happened at the extended Stay American Hotel on Senate National avenue in the santa teresa neighborhood. Police say officers were investigating a disturbance when they made contact with the suspect named kevin briones. Theyre saying theyre saying he then shot at those officers.
