TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) After the pandemic cancelled last year s Easter service, many churches and families in the area were excited to take part in service this year.
For many churches, Easter Sunday is the most important Sunday of the year as it is celebrated as the day Jesus was resurrected.
Many churches have leaned towards live-streaming services during the pandemic but are slowly opening things back up to their members. For the Christian, for the believer, Sunday s are important. Today, especially is important because we celebrate the resurrection today, said Pastor Terry Clark of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Last year we didn t have service. We still had the highest number of views we had was on resurrection Sunday.
