battlefield and others in ukraine can put the military leadership and intelligent leadership see this and they know it will get worse, it could set the stage to think about how to end it. we are beginning to hear some reports that russia is planning a major new offensive ahead of the one year anniversary which is a month from now. does russia really risk building up at least to their population, there military, that they are going to do something far reaching if that offensive fails like many of their offensive has over the past year, what is russia risking? that the point. it does risk failure, they are not training their troops, not recruiting as many as they want. they don t have equipping to give them, personally quit or unit-based equipment. no real reason to think this is going to go better for russia.
