The murder, which the Pimpri Chinchwad police believe was a premeditated, came to light following an input received from the confidential informant of the Navi Mumbai police.
The deceased, identified as Vandana Dwivedi – a native of Lucknow, was working with Infosys, located at Rajiv Gandhi IT Park, Hinjewadi, for the past two years.
Local police said that the Infosys techie, identified as Vandana Dwivedi, was found dead in a hotel in the Laxmi Nagar area of Pune and have arrested a man named Rishabh Nigam, who is suspected to have murdered her.
A techie was shot four times in a Pune hotel. The suspect revealed that he had shot his friend, with whom he was in a relationship for the past 12 years. The motive behind the murder is under investigation.
