Norwood-Tiger, a jazz vocalist and founder of the Palm Beach International Jazz Festival, which opens at the Rinker Playhouse on Saturday, said she has always been a spiritual person and that she owed her second chance at life to her faith. “The doctors told me to get my affairs in order because they couldn’t remove all of the tumor during surgery,” Norwood-Tiger said. “I know it was God and so many people praying for me that got me through it.”
