Following his controversial zombie lumberjack match with Damien Priest at WWE WrestleMania Backlash, it was reported that The Miz suffered an injury during the pre-tapped bout and would be out for 9 months after suffering a torn ACL.
Now, The Miz has spoken with Forbes and has suggested that the length of time he will be absent from the ring may not be entirely accurate.
“I was looking on Twitter, and then I was looking on the news sites that were talking about my injury, and I’m like ‘first off, how do they know?’ Because I’ve never said anything and they’re saying things wrong, like all wrong. And it’s annoying, I guess you can say, because I heard I was out nine months.

Keith Lee has been off WWE TV since just before the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and in recent weeks has been tweeting statements to reassure his fans.
Lee once against taken to social media with another statement regarding his absence.
He tweeted: I wanted to do something educational, but also inspiring to tell you guys about everything since late January. Seems that is off the table for now.
So….with that, I will find another way to tell guys about everything. It might simply a video of me chatting with you. We’ll see.

Some of the WWE women s roster are not happy with a recent backstage hire that was made by the company recently.
It was reported last week, that WWE has hired Jamie Horowitz as Executive Vice President of Development & Digital.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting this led to at least some ire from women working in WWE
Horowitz was fired by FOX Sports in 2017 after allegations of sexual harassment.

Lio Rush made a surprise debut at AEW Double or Nothing, appearing as the final entrant in the Casino Battle Royale match. Since then, many have wondered what his current status with NJPW and AEW is.
Wrestling News Observer has given an update and reported that Rush signed a new contract with NJPW in April. NJPW has given the go-ahead for Lio Rush to compete for other promotions such as AEW and MLW, but will still be required to return to the company when needed.
“Rush is expected to work some dates going forward in AEW but he signed with New Japan in April. Due to the obvious with the pandemic, Rush hasn’t been able to start in Japan yet. New Japan okayed him working for AEW and MLW and really wherever he wants to but they have first priority on his dates and he can’t sign with an American group.”
