April 14 represents how far in 2015 women must work in order to earn what men earn in 2014. Equal pay is a symbol of how far we still have to go to achieve pay equity for women and minorities. According to the bureau of labor statistics full time employed women on average earn roughly 78 cents for every dollar men earn. I

Years on a Fourth Avenue home in the richmond district. The hearing would address senior isolation and promote Better Living conditions for this population. If we profess to be an aging friendly city i think we need stronger systems in place to address senior isolation and also Mental Health support services especially for isolated seniors. I have been directly i have been directing our city departments and Community Agencies as much as i can to review services for seniors especially those living alone or isolated in their homes and at this hearing we would like to explore preventive measures that can be taken to address the issue of senior isolation and adequate Mental Health services for our rapidly aging population in San Francisco. I want to make sure that the communities are living or communities and residents are living in safe and sanitary conditions not only for themselves but the well being of the neighbors and other residents nearby.
